We talk to a lot of frustrated gardeners who want to know how to best protect their plants from hungry rabbits and deer.

Plantskydd is an environmentally safe repellent that is sprayed on new plant growth and lasts 3-4 months in the summer, and 6 months in the winter, with no need to re-spray after rain or watering.  You’ll need to make sure the plants then stay dry for 24 hours.

It is made from dried blood and vegetable oil, which acts as a base that binds the product to plants.  It basically works by making plants smell so bad that rabbits and deer won’t eat them!  And honestly, there is a strong odor when it is first applied, but the smell dissipates after a few days.

Warning: do not leave Plantskydd in your car on a hot day, or the bottle might burst.  The good news is that it will definitely repel deer and rabbits from the interior of your car!
