Welcome to Sugar Creek Gardens Here the discerning
gardener finds exceptional plants, unmatched service, and the largest
selection of perennials anywhere. At Sugar Creek Gardens, you'll
find quality and expertise that's as rare and unusual as some of our
2,000 varieties.
We specialize in
exceptional and rare perennials, and also offer old fashioned and
modern roses, annuals, vines, ornamental grasses, and herbs. If
you have not become a plant addict yet, there is still hope. Our goal at
Sugar Creek is to offer you the most remarkable, the newest and the
oddest in plants from around the world.
Classes are offered for gardeners at all levels. We cater to the
beginning gardener, the out of control hobbyist and everyone in between.

Our Staff
Plant nerds, obsessive gardeners, and tree huggers are just a few of the
monikers we go by. Meet a few of our dedicated staff.
Sally Barrett is a
long-time accomplished gardener even though her horticulture roots are
in California -- those roots made the move to Missouri quite nicely! She
is one of our "go-to" designers in the We Plan You Plant program.
Karen
Collins, whose garden was recently featured in St. Louis Homes
and Lifestyles magazine.

Ann Million, an accomplished rosarian and horticulturist and
host of the popular annual "Garden Stroll with Ann Million."
Tina Paletta,
who you may already know from the many talks she has given at Sugar
Creek.
Kim Reiss,
is our manager,
keeper of the blog, founding member of the St. Louis Hydrangea Society, and someone who has grown more plants than you knew
existed.

Kim Reiss discussing fragrant flowers at her visit to KMOV Channel 4's

Navigating this Site
For the listing of the plants we are offering
this year, along with their sizes and prices, visit
Plant Price List.
Descriptions and images of these plants and others, along with a
great deal of helpful information can be found in the
Plant Reference Guide. The plants are listed by genus. If you are
not sure of the genus, first refer to the
Common Name Cross Reference Guide. All plants are hardy in zone 5 (hardy to around –20)
unless noted. Due to the rarity of many of these plants, supplies are
limited and may sell out in spring.
