JEFFERSONIA, Twinleaf: part to full shade. Likes moist, woodland soil. US native. diphylla: named in honor of Thomas Jefferson, third president of the US. Charming white flowers in early spring are followed by unique seed pods that resembles a little hooded pouch. A great foliage plant with its attractive double leaf structure. 18”.
JOVIBARBA hirta subsp. arenaria. Among the tiniest of the Hen and Chicks. Small thick leaved plants that form interesting rosettesonly 1/4” to 3/4” across. Needs full sun and dry conditions. Perfect for rock gardens, trough gardens. Low growing.
