ÞInsectivorous plant lovers -- check out the Sarracenia 'Doodle Bug,' or pitcher plant.  It eats flies, mosquitoes and other small insects. Ewww, gross!  But we love it...

ÞWe still have lots of stepables in stock.  If you have a spot in your yard or around stone pavers that gets foot traffic, but could use some greening up, check out these plants you can walk on.

ÞDid you attend our Solstice with the Stars fundraiser party last month?  Look here for some pics.

How can you resist?
Pinot Noir

You can enjoy the tropical beauty of hibiscus in a perennial form, and you don't need a large yard to do it.  We have two dwarf hibiscus, 'Luna Pink Swirl' and 'Pinot Noir,' that love the St. Louis heat and humidity and feature huge, 10-inch blooms.  Both reach about 2 feet in height and width.  'Luna Pink' is $14.99 and 'Pinot Noir' is $19.99.  Full sun and lots of water.

Why we love shasta daisy 'Broadway Lights'
Before

After

No, don't adjust your screen -- this is a daisy that really delivers.  The first image is a quart-sized 'Broadway Lights.'  The second image is from Peggy's own garden -- a second year plant.  WOW.  In addition, 'Broadway Lights' presents a kaleidoscope of color -- flowers open a lemony yellow color and petals fade to pure white as they age.  You end up with a mixture of yellows, whites, and everything in-between on one plant at any given time.  Deadhead flowers for more blooms later in the season.  And this plant is a friendly 18-24 inches tall.  Likes full to part sun in well-drained soil.   Enjoy -- we sure are...
