What's new?

Our December hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday (closed Sunday)

We'll be closed in January and re-open part-time in February.

Looking for something to do?  Check out the Missouri Botanical Garden's Gardenland Express -- fun for all ages.

Here are some pictures I took at the Gardenland Express last year...

Have you seen our Top 10 Gift Guide?  It includes stocking stuffer ideas and our Emeritus Gift List for those classic gift suggestions we've "retired."

If you're looking for something a little unusual in the gift department this year, check us out.

Everything in our gift shop is 20% off
through Dec. 24...YOU do the math!
Calling all hydrangea lovers!

The very first meeting of the St. Louis Hydrangea Society will be held Wednesday, Dec. 9, at 6:30 at the
St. Louis County Library's Oak Bend Branch.  We hope you can join us!  For more information, call 314-954-7501, or info@stlouishydrangeasociety.org

We're thinking it's time to get rid of the flotsam and jetsam that collect in our gift shop.  Check out our sun porch where everything is 50% off.  You can buy holiday gifts at half price and your family and friends will never know -- we wont' tell....
Do you have a live Christmas tree?

The National Christmas Tree Association
has
care guidelines for your tree here.  Among their suggestions:

  • Use lights that produce low heat, such as miniature lights, to reduce drying of the tree.

  • Always inspect light sets prior to placing them on the tree. If worn, replace with a new set.

  • Do not overload electrical circuits.

  • Always turn off the tree lights when leaving the house or when going to bed.

  • Remember to put up a miniature Christmas tree for the fairies. (Okay, I added that one.)

Live Christmas trees in colorful red pots!

$19.99 and $29.99.  You can place these in outdoor pots or bring them in and decorate as Christmas trees.  Plant them in the spring and get the most for your money.

And care is a cinch, according to P. Allen Smith.

Gift certificates 10% off
through December -- one size fits all.

Happy Holidays to you from all of us at Sugar Creek Gardens.  We value your business, and your support this past year has been phenomenal.

May next year bring your family and friends much joy, success, and happy and healthy hearts.
