The First Noël -- it's a book, an ornament, and a keepsake

Author and artist Jan Pieńkowski has created a beautiful pop-up Nativity book, reflecting the wonder of Christmas. It unfolds to create a traditional carousel, with each spread a snowy-white, cut-paper scene springing out from a rich red background.

A joy for children and adults alike.  $14.99 at Sugar Creek.

Just in -- a fresh supply of dwarf conifers

Our miniature evergreens in bright red pots have been especially popular this season.  They're great for winter window boxes and containers, or inside as tiny Christmas trees.  We also have miniature green and variegated boxwood.  $10.99 each, or three for $30.

You'll see a large variety of dwarf conifers and miniature shrubs featured at the Missouri Botanical Garden's Gardenland Express exhibit -- a "must see" for anyone with kids.
