In a fit of insanity, we decided it was a good time to revamp our entire website.  Does anyone enjoy this process??  Painful as it was, we think you'll like the new look and organization.  Let us know what you think...

Name our owl -- win a $25 Sugar Creek gift certificate
If you've been reading our blog, then you know about the latest addition to the Sugar Creek Gardens family, an eastern screech owl.  He (she?) has moved into the soffit area under the roof in the front of the house (the side that faces Woodlawn).  We can't get enough of him!  Now -- he needs a name.

Send us your suggestions for a name and the winner, chosen arbitrarily and after a lot of debate by the girls at work, will receive a $25 Sugar Creek gift certificate.  (Special consideration will be given to entries by children.)  Mail your submittal to us, or drop us an e-mailDeadline is Wed., Nov. 19.  The owl's new name will be posted on the blog and in the next e-newsletter.

Don't overlook your windowboxes this winter

Don't settle for lackluster displays in your windowboxes or containers this winter -- or worse yet, leave them empty.  There's a nice variety of hardy plants and decorating materials available that can add a little pop to your exterior in the middle of winter and greet visitors before they even step in your house.

Stop by and let us give you some ideas, or get inspired by checking out a few articles online, like this one, this one, or this one.
